🛠️ Troubleshooting Guide – Getting the Best Results
If you're facing issues with your transfers, review this checklist:
✔ Use a Commercial Heat Press
Non-commercial presses may not reach required heat or pressure levels.
✔ Pre-Press Your Apparel
Remove moisture and wrinkles before applying the transfer.
✔ Avoid Seams
Make sure seams are not under the press area — they cause uneven pressure.
✔ Skip the Teflon Sheet
It reduces heat by 10-20°F. Press directly on the film.
✔ Calibrate Your Heat Press
Use a heat gun to verify actual temperature. Misreadings can cause failure.
✔ Apply Correct Pressure
Transfers need heavy pressure — adjust your press accordingly.
✔ Avoid Over-Pressing
Too much time or heat can burn the ink. Always start low and adjust up if needed.
✔ Follow Peel Instructions
Peel immediately if hot peel, or wait if cold peel. Incorrect peeling can ruin the design.
✔ Use Correct Fabric
Transfers are for cotton or cotton/poly blends — not suitable for leather, nylon, or spandex.
